WHAT:Playback Workshop Theatre is back performing exclusive limited engagements at GYA
A playback performance consists of audience members telling true moments and stories from their lives and the actors and musicians playing back those moments using improvisation, theatre, dance, song and storytelling.
Playback Theatre performance is theme based and done to honor the essence of the stories told.
Playback Workshop Theatre has been honoring stories all over St. Louis since 2005.
PWT proudly honored stories from the St. Louis refugee community, women who have lost their children, incarcerated youth and adults, students in county and public schools as well as SLU and Washington University, Adult Educators, Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT) and people from all over Missouri during the run of Homegrown St. Louis' Organic Racism
