Saturday, February 1st Eight Black art galleries will present separate yet coordinating exhibitions that speak to the experiences of St. Louis racial and ethnic inhabitants, settlers, immigrants and residents in the 250 year history of St. Louis from the unique perspectives of diverse artists and visual art forms. The galleries will each have coordinated opening events, and will provide educational components for youth, young adults and other targeted groups throughout 2014.
"We Have Not Forgotten" will explore local St. Louis history and St. Louis African American greats through visual art and text.
