Robin Savage: Beyond Protest Art: Race, Class, and Public Space will be the topic of discussion

Robin Savage is a political artist and cultural critic who lives in Memphis, TN, and who has taught at many universities and colleges in the US, including Yale, Arizona, Rhodes and the Memphis College of Art.  He holds a doctorate in Comparative Cultural and Literary Studies with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean, and has published widely on a variety of critical issues and genres, including postcolonial drama and film, race theory, and feminist studies.  He has also lectured widely, most recently for the Occupy Memphis Teach-Ins and the Cairo2Memphis event in March 2011.  His paintings have been published and shown regionally and nationally, and he directs the guerrilla art group known as the Memphis Art Brigade.  He has recently written a manifesto on postcolonial painting.

  2. Five weeks ago my boyfriend broke up with me. It all started when i went to summer camp i was trying to contact him but it was not going through.
